Chancel and Children's Choirs
The music ministries are very important in the life of our church. Both the Children's and Chancel Choirs are integral components of our Sunday worship services. Varied styles of music, traditional and contemporary, are offered to the glory of God by both the Children's and Chancel Choirs. Two community outreach programs are presented each year in May and December, with all proceeds benefiting the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley. The Chancel Choir is composed of teen and adult voices of all ages. Anyone is welcome to join! Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 6:00 p.m. and also on Sunday mornings just prior to the 10:30 a.m. worship service. The choir season begins in September and continues through the end of May. Our hand bell choir, the Village Ringers, plays several times throughout the year during Sunday worship services as well as at the two annual community outreach programs. A variety of music styles is represented in the group's repertoire. The ability to read music is helpful but certainly not necessary to be a member. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 7:15 p.m. from September through May.
