The following ministries are available to the adult members at
Poland Presbyterian:
The heart of the Adult Ministry is expressed primarily in a variety of smaller communities. A number of these meet on Sunday mornings during our 9 a.m. Sunday School hour. Other sessions meet during the week or on a scheduled, periodic basis. Without a doubt, the best way to get to know other adults at the church is through one of these communities.
During the Week and Month
The Morning Men’s Breakfast Group (Thomas Group) meets Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. for book discussion, conversation and prayer.
The SWEL Group (formerly known as WIT-Women In Transition) meets the third Monday of each month for a group activity. This group is for widowed or divorced women. Watch the weekly bulletin and E-news Mailchimp or monthly Illuminator to see where they are going next. Contact the church office for more information.
Gentle Yoga Class meets every Tuesday 6:20-7:45 p.m., in Classroom 24. Enter through front church doors. Class fee $15.
Crochet & Knitting, Prayer Shawl Ministry Group meets on the 2nd & 4th Saturday each month from 11:30-1:00 p.m. All skill levels welcomed - bring a friend and join us! The group makes baptism blankets for all infant/children of the church as well as prayer shawls for adult members. Many members enjoy this time of fellowship and go to lunch afterwards - all are welcome...bring a friend. Lessons available.
